The DEMP Project is a faith-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing victims enslaved in the sex trafficking industry. We were established in 2015 and are located in Jacksonville, Florida. DEMP’s goal is to eradicate sex slavery and sex-for-sale businesses in our local community. Our team has spent the last eight plus years providing spiritual and physical resources to those who find themselves living this life. We build unconditional relationships meeting individuals where they are at and bringing the light of Christ to the darkness.
Our goal is to help the victims and their families make the transition to a better life. We assist in providing housing, life coaching, employment skills, and other essentials for an everyday life. Whatever the need, we are here to help! We will fight with these courageous women as they fight to take back control of their lives, and the future of their families.
We go out into the Jacksonville community and spread the love of Jesus by outreaching to children by providing scripture and building strong relationships through consistent interaction and character building.
This is our bread and butter. Our club ministry program is based on the needs of our strip club community. We go into the local strip clubs and adult entertainment establishments to minister to the women by sharing the love of Jesus. Our group is proud to say that we minister to eight strip clubs in Jacksonville. We don't judge the girls. Instead, we build trusting relationships so we can help them recognize who they are in Christ. It is common for us to assume the roles of sisters and mothers where otherwise they wouldn't have the support. We stand in the gap and help these women to find their identity and to establish lasting relationships with our staff and with their Lord and Savior.
We focus on Bible studies for both men and women. Come join us! Women meet every other Tuesday and men meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Check out our events page to get more information.
We truly need a ministry of men and women faithful to help us with everything to basic honey-do's to manual labor, like painting and carpentry, serving food at our pantry and many other things. If you cannot lift or help, please join us in prayer.
